Homebirth

Women birth best where they feel relaxed and supported. For many women, that place is the comfort of their home.

Free of artificially imposed timetables and milestones, women find their own rhythm and following their instincts as their birth unfolds. Each birth is attended by a minimum staff of a midwife and an RN birth assistant registered nurse. All equipment necessary to monitor mother and baby’s responses to labor are provided. Additionally, ongoing doula/labor support is a priority of our service.

Birth at home allows birth to unfold organically and without interference.

Sage-Femme offers safe, satisfying, and empowered homebirth care to women and families who choose and are appropriate for this model of care.
